Paprika Goat Cheese

$74.80$280.50

This goat cheese is perfect for cheese lovers who yearn for the tangy flavors of Spanish cheeses after moving away from Spain. Crafted by Panal de Campo in Arzúa, Galicia, North Western Spain, it offers a delicate nutty taste and a creamy texture. The cheese is meticulously made from pasteurized Murciano goat milk. To enhance its flavor, it is coated with a paste made from natural paprika and seasoned with salt. Afterward, it is ripened for 30-45 days in an aromatic cellar, where a thick layer of yeasts naturally produces carbon dioxide.

To ensure optimal quality, the cheese is cut into discs and carefully wrapped in nettle leaves, which are freshly harvested daily from the farm. This process safeguards the cheese from excessive exposure to air or sunlight, preventing excessive hardening or the development of undesirable flavors.

STORAGE & CARE

To enjoy the cheese at its best, serve it at room temperature. When not in use, it is recommended to store it in its vacuum pack in the refrigerator, where it maintains a consistent cold temperature. Once the package is opened, wrap the cheese in plastic wrap.

SERVING RECOMMENDATION

For the best experience, always serve the goat cheese at room temperature. To achieve this, remove it from the refrigerator approximately 30 minutes before serving. This cheese with its unique paprika flavor can be savored on its own or paired with Obando Picos Gourmet, a glass of wine, and most importantly, in the company of good friends.
