The caviar was delicious; a treat we had never experienced, but were well prepared to savour as lovers of seafoods. However, even though the caviar was a remarkable taste experience, what will endure even more is the customer service. We ordered the caviar as part of an “under the sea” themed birthday party for a beloved friend who is, unfortunately, terribly and terminally sick with cancer. The IHOC went the extra mile to ensure we received the caviar on time, in a way that was truly heart warming. Clearly they understand the importance of a quality product, and role that such products can play in creating special and meaningful memories when loved ones enjoy them together. read less

We've been a customers for 3-4 years and when it came to a big milestone birthday for my mom they even included some surprises in the package with the caviar. Living on the East Coast means that sometimes there's shipping issues because FedEx doesn't like where we live, but IHOC has always come through and helped us whenever we need help! I have never worried about the quality of the product, because I know it'll be the best you can get. If you're on the fence about ordering anything, go for it! I regularly buy caviar and smoked sturgeon from them and have for a couple years now - as well as caviar serving tools, truffles, and fancy food gifts for my family [altho recently they’ve “streamlined” their online selection somewhat]. I think my favourite aspects of shopping with IHOC are… the easy online checkout, their reliably responsive customer e-service, their next-day local door-to-door delivery in their fabulous logo’ed van and their very nice matt-black-&-gold bags with sealed icepack shippers discreetly inside - even in summer heatwaves I have complete confidence that the caviar is safe & fresh. I also really like that they carry high-quality Canadian & [frankly] world-class British Columbia products. If I told you the type of customer service that I’ve received from Behzad, I don’t think you would believe me. As someone who works in a service oriented environment, I understand how hard it can be to manage, organize, and be on top of everything all of the time. Behzad makes it look easy! He has hand delivered caviar to me in the past to my work place. I live on Vancouver island! He is so efficient, caring and just overall the best in the industry. The order arrived the next day as promised and was securely packaged. I ordered a gift set for someone else plus some extras for myself. The gift box was impressive and included two beautiful mosaic mother of pearl spoons. The whole experience felt very luxurious. Their customer service greatly exceeded my expectations. I reported a small issue with one of the caviar tins just to make them aware, but they took the opportunity to go above and beyond and more than make up for it. read less

At first I was a little worried . Paced my order for 50g of caviar and a couple of spoons on Sunday night. My order was processed  but I didn't get a confirmation email. I waited two days and after seeing my CC was charged, I called. Very helpful person looked into the issue right away. The error was with the payment processing 3rd party, but IHOC fixed it right away and sent my package that day with an extra gift. I received my items  the next morning at 9:15am (BC to ON) and it was nicely boxed with ice. I had no concerns with the freshness of the caviar, it was still cold. While browsing the website, I came across fresh truffles and asked to be notified when they have stock. Just my luck, they had 100g left, so I bought it. That too arrived the next day (8:45am), packaged in a cool container just like the caviar. The moment I opened the box I knew everything was good. The air filled with the pungent smell from the truffles! Still very fresh. It was my wife's birthday that week, and being stuck in quarantine I decided to make lots of treats for her. Thank you IHOC! EDIT Photo descriptions: - Fresh homemade blinis with caviar. - Fresh sliced truffles. - Truffle Tagliatelle. - Pan-fried foie gras with Périgueux sauce and poached egg. - Cornish hen with Périgueux sauce, black truffle risotto and wilted arugula with garlic and lemon zest. read less

The service we receive is first rate,  with delivery and communication all handled quickly. Everything is delivered packed in frozen gel packs so temperature sensitivity is never a problem . We regularly have other vendors trying to sell us their caviars but we send them away as I know we would never get that same level of service we get now . The locally produced Divine Sturgeon Caviar is a favourite! read less
